History: Bakelite Bangles come in many varieties, but the most coveted designs of this early plastic jewelry were the more unusual. This bangle falls into the unusual category as it was a plain yellow bangle, then incised with little dips which were filled with green bakelite, to create a striped look, making it very charming and different.
