The cute and serious-looking owl is marked "Vanda USA". He is gold-toned with dark accents and green rhinestone eyes. He has a tiny latch under his feet that allows the back of the pin to open up. This reveals a small space, created by the "belly" of the owl, meant to secret away a tiny solid perfume cube which came with the pin, and refills were available. This idea was very popular in the 1960s. This piece is in excellent condition but does not have the perfume cube. A scented cotton ball can be used in the pin. (see photos.
