Trifari Double-Chained Silver Tone Necklace With Happy Heart Pendant- Signed Vintage Trifai 1970s - 1980s

This is a gorgeous, double strand necklace from Trifari. This piece is in excellent vintage condition. The chains and clasp are shiny and functional, as is the Pendant, with 3 central Happy Hearts surrounded by 9 more. The Happy Heart pendant is a little over an inch in diameter. The Trifari copyright and signature are visible in the photos, on the backside of the pendant. Total length of this necklace, including charm, is 23in.  Trifari jewelry is highly collectible due to its long, international history. It started with Giovanni Trifari, in Italy, forming his first partnership in 1925, and by the 1930s making his own jewelry for his company. Trifari jewelry was in production until the year 2000, when it sold to the Liz Claiborne Company. This particular piece has the signature type used from the 1970s and '80s.
