Emmons Lucite Necklace with Black Cabochons in Silver Settings - Mid Century Modern Emmons Necklace - Art Deco Lucite Emmons Designer Wear

This is a lovely MCM mid-century piece with six Black Lucite cabochons molded in an Art Deco style and presented in silver settings. The Emmons line of Jewelry was created by the C.H. Stuart & Company in 1949, Mr. Stuart named the line after his wife, Caroline Emmons. The necklace has 2 large center settings, then 2 smaller settings on each side, followed by a length of chain ending in a hook and eye closure, allowing the wearer to choose the length for the neckline of the outfit. The necklace is in very nice used condition, and ready to wear.  It can be dressed down for work and dressed up for the evening. It is classic 1950s.
