This is a beautiful Taxco brooch or pendant from Mexico, made of a pretty dark green onyx stone set, in an intricate circle of Sterling silver. The piece is marked Mexico and 925, plus it has the signature EME and the mark for Taxco. The back has a loop for a chain to make it a necklace or a pin to make it a brooch. For the collector of Taxco, this is a wonderful example of 1930 to 1950 artistry.
