Vintage Carl Art Crystal and Obsidian Screw-back Earrings and Brooch Set

This vintage Carl Art set is absolutely beautiful and includes: screw-back earrings made of gold filled circular wire, with 10, prong set rosette Crystals, and 3, baguette crystals attached on top of the gold (12K) wire, around an oval black Obsidian setting, plus a brooch also with a gold filled (12K) circular wire, with 28 prong set rosette crystals, and 15 baguettes around a larger oval of black Obsidian setting. This 1940s classic Carl Art design is stunning when added to a little black dress.  Great for any formal occasion!  A great gift to the lady that loves simple elegance.

Brooch measures 1.75 in long and 1.5 in wide. Earrings are a little over 1 in long and about .75 in across.

Extremely Small markings on the back show 1/20 of 12 KTG, meaning the metal in the pieces is made from real gold alloyed with other metals. It is also marked with CA with an arrow, which denotes Carl Art Jewelry from the 1940s. The Carl Art company only used gold and silver in their jewelry designs.  They came to the U.S. from Germany and wanted to sell quality.  Most of their original designs included vines.
