Coro Gold Circle with Crystals Pin/Brooch

This pin has no maker's mark, but it is listed in the book on Coro Jewelry of Mid Century. It features a circle of dazzling crystals. Framing the underside of the crystal circle is a gold-tone crescent. The shine of the gold beautifully complements the sparkle of the crystals. This circle pin would look lovely on a hat, sweater, shirt, or scarf! It is so very understated, yet the sparkle effect, when the pin moves, is a total eye-catcher.  The ladies of the mid-century were ordinary women discovering they had beauty and power, but the gentlemen of their era had barely caught onto the idea a woman could be a self-reliant human being. Therefore, jewelry was often subtle, but revealing in a way that only women could truly understand. This is just such a piece! It is in great condition.
