Cherry Red Bakelite Brooch with Deep Carvings - Vintage Brooch

This vibrant cherry red Bakelite Art Deco brooch/Pin, carved to look like tiny branches and leaves, against a background of larger leaves, is in great condition. (see photos.) Collectors of Bakelite, understand this red color was an early color, often used to make small simple pieces of jewelry, which sold for very low prices in the 1930s. The color and condition make it a very collectible and wearable piece of Bakelite art.  It would make a wonderful gift.  It is not large and would be perfect on a sweater or scarf in winter...or to decorate a summer hat.
