Brooch with Mexican Man Mining an Agate - Made in Mexico - Figural Vintage Brooch 1950-60s - Mid Century Pin

Mexico has a rich history, which includes mining beautiful gemstones and minerals. This pin replicates the common man mining an agate with a pick axe. Our brooch is part of a series of similar pieces; each pin in the series shows a silver-toned miner in a sombrero mining away at a genuine natural gemstone found in Mexico. The pin's length is 1.25",  and height is 1.5", making it noticeable, but not ostentatious. The pin is marked Mexico, and the line was made between 1950 and '60.  This pin is in great condition, with no breaks and minimal signs of wear. The back of the pin has two small spots behind the stone (see photo), which appear to be just the age of the glue; this, in no way, impacts the look. This pin is ready to be worn or gifted as soon as it makes its way to you.
