This listing is for a lovely, silver tone necklace with blue thermoset beads. Thermoset Jewelry was very popular during the 1950s and '60s, and was created in a unique way which differs from most modern plastics. A thermoset is created by irreversibly hardening soft solids or liquid prepolymers, typically with heat. These specific thermosets are a deep cerulean with black crackle patterns which makes each one stand out differently from the last, they also resemble natural turquoise . The total length of the necklace is approximately 17.5in, including a hook and adjustable chain that makes it friendly to a wide range of sizes. As an added splash of character, the chain has a lovely pearlescent dangle, which will be noticed from the back. Further, this necklace is in good condition with only some expected signs of age and discoloration along the metal chain (see photos).
