History: Thermoset Jewelry was very popular during the 1950s and '60s, and was created in a unique way which differs from most modern plastics. A thermoset is created by irreversibly hardening soft solids or liquid prepolymers, typically with heat. These specific thermosets are a deep cerulean with black crackle patterns which makes each one stand out differently from the last, and to resemble natural turquoise .
This necklace is in great wearable condition with only some expected small signs of age along the metal chain (see photos). This vintage piece could make a great gift or addition to your own collection.
