Antique Pin - Shell Cameo of Male in Twisted Frame Pin - Male Image Cameo Brooch

This is a small pin featuring a cameo of a Man with hair combed around his head, like a Roman Emperor. The white shell around the design is subtly transparent. There is a spiral gold-colored ring around the main brooch shell. The details on this pin are beautifully crafted and it appears to be from around 1900 to 1920. The clasp on the back is a locking C clasp with a small lever to lock the pin in place. This pin is in great condition. There is a bit of tarnish and discoloration on the shell center.
